O-WEEK!

Hey All!

So life is pretty good here in Dunedin. After heading back from Te Anau and Milford Sounds we entered the crazy week of orientation…all about having a good time and meeting tons of people. Two of my roommates Holly and Scott arrived on Sunday night. It was awesome to get to meet them. Scott is my “kiwi host” and is awesome! He has totally made the transition here so easy. I have spent quite a bit of time hanging out with him and his friends who are all really cool. Holly is from just out side of Buffalo, NY. She is really sweet but is still pretty quite. Orientation week was pretty crazy, lots of activities all day long, free food, free stuff, and lots of going out. The study abroad office ran a few events for us; one was a trip around the Otago Peninsula that was actually really cool and showed us all this amazing wildlife right near by campus. The other huge highlight of this past week was going to the Highlanders rugby game on Saturday. It was so cool to be in a stadium of people who actually knew what rugby was! Also this band called Elemeno P played at the beginning and they were really good. Clancy my third roommate arrived on Friday. He is from Connecticut and goes to Vassar. He studied here last semester and is really cool as well. I think I will get a long really well with all of my roommates which is good. We had a nice little flat dinner last night, which was pretty cute. Classes started this past Monday, they seem like they are going to be really good. Speaking of class I actually have to go get ready for class. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Miss you all and am thinking of you all lots!
