I am still in Ko Samui, it is my last day here tomorrow before we set off for Krabi on 26th.
It is extremely hot and as a result i have prickly heat! Which is a nightmare because it really stings when i am in the sun and as you can imagine apart from my room everywhere is in the sun! But i have bought a big white shirt to cover me up for when i have to venture into the sun. I am hoping it will disappear shortly so i can get on with enjoying my travels.

Today we went to the pier where the boat docked when we arrived and had a look around the many many shops around there. But this morning i have been staying out of the sun in my room while the others were at the pool :-(

It is very quiet here compared to Bangkok and that is quite strange because in Bangkok everywhere was buzzing with activity and the restaurants were always busy, whereas last night we went to a restaurant and there were only 3 other tables being used. It is nice to have a relaxing time but we are hoping there will be more people about when we go off to Krabi.

OMG how slow am i!
and this has two meanings! Mate, it has taken me since monday (it is now saturday) to figure out how to leave a message on here - how dumb am i! Hey girlies and boy! sounds like you are having a wikid time! its makin me so excited about tripping to asia - the 8 months can't go quick enough! glad to see you are managing to shop and drink beer! hope sarah is feeling much better now and the stoopid chest infection has gone away! things here are far less exotic as you can imagine. we have been experiencing A LOT of rain. i have managed to go out drinking about once in the past month and ended up wasted and singing kareoke WITHOUT MUSIC! i cant wait to go back to work on mon and be riddiculed! keep posting pics giffo (how did we not giv you that name in the house?!) cos its fun to see your lil red face! hehe! i'm guessin the prickly heat tablets aren't working! I imagine sarah has been informed of the scores of the wales france match.. it is on as i type, and wales are currently winning. ireland beat the hell out of england earlier, of course i was supporting the winning team as always! there is nothin nu from here to report... i got my visa the other day, need to get all my goods together for the off but apart from that (oh, and the small need to get 5more ppl into work this month so i don't loose my job!) i am ready and raring to go! Hey you, I was wondering when i was going to get a message from you! No the prickly heat tablets are not working!! I think Sarah is feeling a lot better now though. You are going to love Asia when you come out but you have to learn to be very firm because everyone tries to con you out here! You say you want to go to one place and they take you somewhere else and try to charge you for it! I dont think so! Katie is very good at pushing the price down when we go shopping. I dont know if she has heard the score because I havent - how are Wales doing? Dont forget to let me know your flight details for Australia. Love Debbie x

hey everyone!!! i am so so sorry i have taken so long to get in touch with you!! as you know i can be a little slow. Are you feeling better now deb? try some aloe vera...you can prob get some fresh stuff out there. pics look awesome.... however i dont think i could have eaten that food they gave you!!!!! trust you guys to be shopping in the first few days...but its got to be done!! we're having thunder storms in wales at the mo, so i bet that burning sun does seem a little better now. has sarah got one of these blogs 2? hope your all ok out there....put ur foot down deb dont let them con u! hehe. hope the journey to krabi is better than ur last....take care u guys....love u lots jo xxx
