I've had a strange week. I left Moholoholo on tuesday. I really did not want to leave.I even got a goodbye present from everyone it was soo cute! I got a card a little zebra pen and a key ring 😊 The lady Esri who runs the Nholwasi community project came and picked me up on tuesday morning. When I got to Nholwasi they were putting tents up for us. They are at a new location so they are still getting everything together. After about half an hour of being there I was already in tears! I just missed Moholo soo much already but definetly wanted to give it a try. After only being at Nholwasi for a couple of hours we all went tubing! Soo much fun! It was my second time but this time was better as it was free as Esri knows the people! We got as many goes as we like down the river and we got to have a swim aswell. We had a braii by the river and got back to camp late. In the morning we got to school at 7.45am. The school is called Lumukisa and there are over 600 pupils.I had to help
Tubing!Tubing!Tubing!

In our cool gear hehe
with the grade R's (5 year olds). I thought that we would just be watching and learning for the day but intead the teacher handed me and Millie the book and expected us to teach 42 extremely lively 5 year olds! Millie is far better at teaching than me she has loads of experience in teaching so I just kinda help out at the moment. I enjoyed my day there but found it really hard. I decided I just wanted to go back to Moholo.I was in such a state crying my eyes out and getting myself worked up.I tried ringing everyone at Moholo but had no answer. I phoned Martin the guy who sorts out the projects and explained how I felt but he said the likely hood of me going back was slim to none. Which is definetly what I didn't want to hear! I got a call back from him later on and he said that Moholo are full up and they feel like they already did me a favour by extending my time there before 😞 Ahh I felt sooo crap! I even considered coming home early can you believe it?!! I could understand why I couldn't go back though, Moholo are full up,there are too many students and I wasn't trying hard enough here as I got attatch to the animals there and made some awesome friends.

I am feeling soo much better now.School was easier yesterday the children are gorgeous and I can see I am really helping. Their english is improving aswell.Their first language is shangung (sp?). We have been teaching them numeracy but with activities like how many balls are in the box? What is higher? what is lower? They are learning about their families at the moment aswell and do different activies. Today they had to draw their family and name them etc They sing a lot of songs aswell. Every morning they sing us this song:
Good morning Mr Sun
The day has just begun
I like to see your smiling face
Good morning MR SUN!!

School starts at 8am. We have a lesson between 8-10. 10am they have a 40 min break where they eat a hot dinner which I find strange. Then from 10.40 - 12 they have lessons. At 12 there is a 10 min break and then we normally have story time and a sing song untill 2pm. On fridays school finnishes at 12pm. I already have a couple of favourites. I can barely pronouce any of their names though! They always want to touch my skin. I think they find it weird! Acornhoek is a black community.

I am uuuuuuuuuuber happy now too as I am going back to Moholoholo on the 5th March for 3 weeks 😊 I will leave you with some pictures. I won't be back online till next friday 😞
