We love Sydney!! We have arrived safe and sound and got start to work seeing the city. It didn't take long to realize - we LOVE Sydney. It reminds us a lot of San Francisco and Seattle.

We are staying in a great part of town called Glebe with a super cool girl named Rowena who has been more than hospitable. We checked out the Opera House, did the Sydney Tower for 360 breathtaking views of the city, and did the Aquarium where we really enjoyed seeing the manta rays, platypus, seals, and sea turtle (just amazing creatures). Our favorite thing so far (though it's tough to decide) has been seeing the thousands of huge bats in the Botanical Gardens - WOW!

Tonight Rowena is having some friends over for her birthday party, and then tomorrow morning we begin our journey north . . .

Hello there!
Hi Chelle and Missi! This travel blog is great and so are the pictures. The one with you and the kangaroos must be a backdrop of some kind, but are the kangaroos real? You both look like you're having a wonderful time. Thank you for doing this blog so we can all keep track. Love and kisses, Mom ;-}
