Sunet in Toronto
This was from the CN tower...wow! Wow...what a way to start the trip! As soon as i stepped off the plane, i was greated with a tremendous blanket of white everywhere. But lets go from the start.
The plane journey was fine, we got through customs very quickly after a sad goodbye to the mothers. After slugging around and doing nothing, we went to board the flight...it was delayed, so a nice start. Then when we were just about to board, this family were late and the dad started up a fuss about not being booked onto the flight before me and Andy. I said he could go infront, but he just got moody and got on with it. Me and andy joked that we would be sitting next to all these little kids.....and guess what.....we were!!!! Andy was surrounded by ALL of these young excited kids. It was tres amusing.
I was also sitting next to a very nice/weird/charismatic/over-the-top Christian lady...that as soon as she found out that I was a Christian..jumped on me and asked me about everything...but seemed to be mostly interested in my view of homosexuality. It was interesting to say the least.
We arrived, and as I

Glass floor of CN tower...long way down! said it was freezing and white. Very nice for my first time in Canada. We got lucky and just caught the bus into Toronto centre. We then had to trek with our big bags to find our hostel, which we did, but with much fun as the pavements were just snow.
We found the hostel and we were greated nicely...but then shock horror...our room was a cardboard box. Bunk beds and a desk, with no floor space. Sadly I got no picture of it, but go find a cardboard box in your house...look inside and voila..that was our room.
We then rushed out and the first thing we did was go up the CN tower. And wow...we were high up! It was sunset, so the views were amazing. And by the end of it, the skyline in the dark was so beautiful. You could see for miles! We made our way up the highest point possible and realised that it was shaking a bit...we asked the women and she said that yes it did shake up to 4foot!! We wernt happy.
After that we were very hungry..so walked round for a bit and found what seemed
CN tower
Amazing view of skyscrapers like a nice Italian restaurant. We were right, the guy in there was a gem and was great with us. They stuffed us with so much food that we couldnt finish it...which with me and Andy..we were quite dissapointed. After that we slept well!
The next day, we rose at 7, had a shower...and ran to catch the train to Niagara Falls. But knowing that a Veira was involved, VIA RAIL cancelled the train and we had to go by bus instead. Long story, but we got half our money back for that ticket (which we wernt meant to get, wahay!).
We arrived in Niagara and asked the guy at the train station how far the falls were and he said a mile.....after around 2.5 miles we realised he was lying. Funniest momment....me jumping to see Niagara river thinking it was a 3 foot verge with snow on...but it was 3 foot snow instead :D
It was so worth the long walk....The Falls were utterly amazing. THE most stunning thing i have ever seen (except amy of course). We couldnt stop taking photos. The great thing was that the river was completely frozen and the
falls were half frozen as well. This made a beaitful sight. And it seemed different from each view. We made our way closer and closer to the falls...and at one point we were 3 feet from where the falls cascades over. WOW!
We actually got to go behind the falls but sadly the viewing behind the falls was hard because it was all frozen over..pretty cool though. Finaly there was a viewing platform at the bottom of the falls. This was the most freezing place I have ever been, but it was worth it. The view we got of the falls coming down right next to us was jaw dropping. We got some fantastic photos.
After spending too much time taking photos of the falls...we headed into Niagara to see what it was like, and im not going to waste my time talking about it. There were 2 Starbucks, 1 Subway, 1 Hooters, 36 tacky Restaurants and around 8 Casino/hotels. It was like a mini Vegas. Oh well, we finally got back to the train station and had to grab another bus home. By this time me and Andy were knackered. So we stumbled back to our
Niagara falls
Andy liked the falls hostel (via a little detour), had a cup of tea, wrote our diaries and fell asleep straight away - NICE.
Missing you all so much, and love all your comments, so please keep them coming. I will reply to all of you in time...promise. Lots of love to all!
Next stop - Montreal!
