You really don't realize how large these buildings are until you try and get them all in a picture

Kuala Lumpur

Although Kuala Lumpur (KL) is a fascinating city, I am definetely beginning to miss the ocean. I have spent the last four days here visiting the cities sites that I have more commonly phrased as tourist traps. I did enjoy the incredible architecture KL has to offer which contrasts old high rise structures and the buildings methods of the new century. The Patronis towers, which stand at 480 meters tall and uphold the record for the tallest twin towers in the world really were an engineering marvel. Although much credit is given to Malaysia it was an American firm which completed the engineering, and the labour of the towers was subcontracted out to Japan and Korea.

The food here is pretty great, and since I began traveling a month ago I have lost 10kg (22lbs) of bad weight.

Yesterday Jordan and I went to Sunway Lagoon Waterpark in hopes of finding some indoor surf that we saw on a billibong surf video for the xgames, but unfortunately the wave shop was closed.

Today I did some research and we rented a vehicle for the next 8 days for around 900 ringgit (300 canadian), and so at 6am tomorrow Jordan and I will be heading on routes only few tourists go and visiting what I hope will be the majority of Malaysia, as long as we can Navigate our way out of this hetic city.
