Bees on the window of the apartment lobby.
Apparently February is bee season in Bangalore. No one has specifically said this to me but the honeybees are out in full force. The honeybees here look a lot scarier looking than the honeybees in the US but they pretty much act the same. I've walked through numerous swarms of bees to get in and out of my apartment building and they are all very passive and seem to ignore you (so long as you're not covered in flowers) so I don't really worry about them. They have a tendency to fly into the lobby of the apartment building and then fall to the floor, spin around on their backs while buzzing and then die. I always feel bad and try not to squash any underfoot, dead or barely dead. Poor honeybees.

Delicious honey though.

(While I would not recommend worrying about the bees in Bangalore I would recommend carrying an epipen if you're allergic. Not so much because you'd get aggressively stung by one but because you're likely to step on one.)

BEES! AAAHHHH! CRAP!
I can't believe that you're talking about swarms of bees without absolute hysteria. I would so freak out! Come home soon - and don't bring any bees or bugs home with you either! Poor Julie. Yuck. Stupid insects. God can do anything, right? Why couldn't he just create a universe that had no need for insects? WHY, I ask you?

Without Bees there is no honey
I suppose I could do without most bugs but not without honey. No bees, no honey. I'm not down with that. I could do without wasps and yellow jackets and muddaubers and hornets though.
