The boat has a capacity of roughly 3000! 2000 passengers and 1000 crew.
This was yet another "sea day." We're closing the distance to Acapulco which is the furthest South of our 5 ports of call. This being day 9, Acacia and I were beginning to run short on clean clothes so it was time to do some more laundry. This was quite the chore since everyone else on our deck seemed to have the same idea. Looking back on it, it does make sense that this "Sea day" in the middle of the madness would be the most likely time to wash clothes. Our day was rather low-key today. We sat out by the pool for a litle while this afternoon though that didn't last too long as the sun is really intense this far south and more than a few minutes can really burn you if you don't have a very dark tan to begin with. This, we fllowed with a game of shuffleboard which we gave up on before there was a clear winner. The older gentlemen that play shuffleboard regularly have my respect. It's a very difficult game and with as little skill which Acacia and I have between us, it's a very low scoring game! Meals were on par

for the day. Nothing spectacular yet surely nothing to complain about. After dinner, we caught a movie in the Vista Lounge with about 30 other people. The movie was "Invincible" with Mark Whalberg. It was about Vince Pupale, a walk-on NFL player who showed up to an open tryout for the Philadelphia Eagles and actually made the team for the 1979-80 season. It's a true story and made for a great movie. That ended a nice resting day to save up for the upcoming consecutive days of port visits.

I don't have any good pictures from today so I'll upload some pictures I took of the ship in port yesterday. It's impressive to say the least.

The boat has 14 stories accessible to the passengers. There are a few higher up, I'm sure, but we don't get to see them. Engineering and bridge tours were discontinued just after 9/11. Darn the terrorists...

Darius is actually quite terrible at shuffleboard, and is jealous that his new wife is so reall really ridiculously good at it! ;)
