Hey, well I finally got to London about 4pm today after a 7 hour flight to Munich which I had a 3 hour stop over then another 2 hour flight to London.

Well it's cold and dark here, cold and pretty much covered in a grey fog, kinda depressing coming from Dubai. Anyway I'm here now, got the train and started heading for a hostel I had picked out, got a bit confused and went past my stop then had to get off onto another train and head back to where I'd came from, then realised I was going the right way to start with and then had to get back on the same train again! By this stage I was getting pissed off. I finally got off at a stop where there was to be another hostel near by and started to head for it, after walking half hour trying to read my map to tthis hostel I finally got there and there was a sign on the gate saying 'HOSTEL CLOSED FOR RENAVATIONS!'. SHIT! I ended up just getting a Taxi and taking me to the place I was originally going to go to but couldn't find... Anway I'm staying at the YHA Holland Park which seems like a cool place.

I still haven't heard back from any jobs I applied for, so tomorrow I'm going to do it properly and hope to get something. I might get the bus down to brighton for the day and check it out to see wheather or not I'd like to work there before I get to excited about getting a job there.

I'm also about 10 hours behind u all now.

I went for one job interview and got a job at a pub today in Soho, which is nearly as central London as it gets looking on the map. It's an interesting area to be working with lost of diverse surrounding from nice caffees, awsome gym, cinemas , Maccas, Subway to live sex shows and stuff like that.

It's a live in position shared room with a guy from perth who is starting at the same time as me so hope he is ok. The pub is pretty small with about 7 of us who work there. The pub serves meals and alcohole like any other pub you'd go to. The lady who runs the pub seems nice. My shifts will be consist of 6 days with one day off a week, working the hours 12pm to 11pm with a 48 hour week (geeze big difference from the 25 hour week working with Braecom).

I'll be on about £180-200 a week that includes rent and 6 days pub food. I start tomorrow about 1pm so theres no stuffing around I get straight into things.
