Hi all, dont think i spelt my title right but never mind, you get the gist(is that spelt right? i give up 😊). Anyway, what have i been up to...looking for a job mainly (i'll come to that later) but also on Friday we went down South again for the day. This time we went through the wine region of Margaret River and down to Augusta where they have the surf competitions and we went to the Jewel Cave (hence the title).
So first off, we went to Flinders Bay, a little beach and had a wander along there, it was quite nippy in the wind 😊. We then set off for the Jewel Cave, didnt like the tour guide from the start as he asked 'how old are the kids!!!' meaning me and Nat. the cheek!! so i said 12, thinking back that was slightly unrealistic but still he thought about it for a second!! as if! So obviously travelling hasnt aged me yet.
When we went in the cave they told us all about its history and who found it and things, i was listening but cant really remember much of the details from the top of my head. I do remember that i was most certaintly teachers pet though by answering cauliflower and camel correctly 😊(this was answering the questions 'what does everyone think this formation is...').
We had quite an amusing time making shadows on the wall from the lights, i think the lack of oxygen down there affected us, we were rather giggly, even when we relised we'd walked ahead and the rest of the group were no where to be seen!! they did turn up though after a few mins 😊.
After that we headed for surfers point in Augusta, this is where all the surfers go surprisingly, although this particular afternoon they were all sat on the top of the becah with their surf boards..just gazing into the sea, so they may not have been surfers at all!! I think they were waiting for 'the surf' i was half expecting them all to leap up at the same time and squash us as they all ran to the sea when they saw a wave, like that advert off the telly, what was that for..hmm...cant remember, but anyway they didnt 😊.
We headed north after that to Busstleton, which has the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere...which we walked along 😊. It was light when we set off and then dark when we got back, thats how long it is! We started the long drive back after that and got back just before we turned into pumpkins 😊
Today we have just been to an agency to find work...well sit and wait for ages with lots of other travellers. While sat there we heard the perfect job for us, but then when we got there they just said come back tomorrow because i have to wait to see if someone else comes back for it! eee, nevermind. It was quite funny though, because we were waiting ages and there were all different people there and one by one they went out the door until it was our turn..and then walking down the street in Perth we saw every single person that had been in the agency! all of them just wandering like us, bit weird really 😊. little things like that amuse me.
Anyway, dont think i have anything else to report...let me just think......ermmm.....nope thats all for now.
Speak to you all soon x x x
P.S anwers to the mite or tite question would be appreciated, thankyou x x

Stalegmite-comes from the floor Stalagtite-comes from the ceiling There you go:) Glad you're still having fun. What was this ideal job that you heard about? You didn't actually say what it was. I'm knackered-been working till 8pm tonight. Only been on fones properly today and i didn't have a clue! And you get some proper pyschos. One women rang asking why her bill was £915 (YES for 1 month) and i sed it was cos she'd been making calls to india for hours at a time and she replied with 'noone told me it would cost me more to call abroad!' How thick does she want to be!!!!!! Haha. Not been up to much else other than that but will keep you up dated if anything remotely interesting happens in my life....oh i just sneezed....about the most interesting thing all day!!!! Hehe. Love Emma x
