Ok, so I had to put something on my page to stop it getting deleted. Nothing to tell as yet as my bum is firmly still resting in my work chair at the joyous Accommodation Service at Londonmet. However I am getting incredibly excited about my now very imminent departure - 16th February for anyone that hasn't had this piece of info shoved down their ear. First stop is Rio for Carnival. I'll be there for a week enjoying the festivities and meeting up with the rest of my overlander gang. We then set off on 22nd for, hopefully, many an adventure. I'm actually meeting some of said gang this Friday in London so fingers crossed they are a nice bunch. Right, stay posted for more interesting blogs. xxxx

16 th Feb So today you have lifted off Ok and survived the wrinklies worries! Hope you had a soft landing and exciting start. And what a way to start, carnival in Rio! PS . Congratulations on being awarded a PHd post for next year
