new orleans

arrived in new orleans this eveing around 6pm. it's been an eventful couple days.
we left stillwater and drove all day until we got to st louis. got in just after dark to find no one around at the only hostel in town. after hangin out for a while someone eventually came by and let us knwo the hostel was closed, but that they'd let us in any way. we wandered around the alleged "french quater" of st louis. ended up in a place called the bastille for a drink. seemed like a real manly place. lots of moustaches and country music. but then i noticed the purplr teletubbie on the tv and that every was talking real close and in thick lisps. best gay bar ever.
the next day we checked out the st louis arch and headed to memphis. graceland was closed by the time we arrived so we had some pizza. and got a motel room. interesting side note. i think we were th eonyl white people in memphis. it was pretty funny. we went to graceland today. i'll post some pictues when i feel like i have time. after graceland we headed out on the road and arrived over the bayous to new orleans. this hostel is pretty sweet but i'm almost out of time. i reckon i'll stick aorund for a whiel here. sleep well my friends.
