Today I moved over to the Recoleta Hostel for $9 USD a night. Dropped my bags and ran out the door for a pasta lunch, then to the bus station. Today was a big day. I have set my end date for Buenos Aires. I leave for Mendoza (wine and mountains) on Friday (the 26th) and I changed my flight to March 4th to leave out of Buenos Aires and return to San Francisco on the 5th. The bus station of Buenos Aires is 3 levels high with 80 different bus lines. The executive, full sleeper, full service to Mendoza is only $50 USD, its the first class. The bus leaves at 10 at night and arrives in the morning, so can have a full day in BA then leave for Mendoza and arrive ready for a full Saturday in Mendoza. Perfect.

I continued to walk around Recoleta near the bus station, took an hour in the park to lay down and listen to my ipod and people watch.

Next I randomly bump into an Auzzie guy I met at the hostel in Punta del Este with his buddy, so we walked around together through Florida street (a walking street full of shops -10 blocks long), then to a cultural center then a couple beers. I just split off with them and now finishing this journal entry.

No plans for tonight except to meet a friend

Tommorrow is Austrialia Day and the Auzzies are inviting me out. Sounds like a good today and painful idea for the day after.
