Christmas Day

So Christmas was here. No presents under the tree for me so I must have been a bad girl this year. One present I did have was a hangover though!

So on the way into town it was crazy to see the majority of the shops open, I mean who wants to buy shoes on Christmas day or is it for those last minute presents you forgot? I imagine that it was probably more for the tourists than anything else. We did come across a manikin with the chintziest grin and even a gold tooth........so funny!

Some of the not so nice things were seeing the kids around town out selling on Christmas day. With Cuzco being such a tourist trap these kids from about the age of about four are out selling tack or begging.

I only have a few pictures of Christmas Day/Night as after a heavy Christmas Eve the hair of the dog started at midday and from there it was how Christmas should be, Eating and drinking lots. In fact I think it’s the first time that I have been clubbing on Christmas night and drank my way through to Boxing Day!

Just because I may be on the other side of the world some traditions just don’t change.
