Pisac
Living life on the edge (It was a bloody big drop) So after a few days in Cusco I decided that it really was not the place for me and definitely not somewhere that I would want to spend New Year. The main reason for this was nothing to do with the fact that the city was horrible because in fact it is a beautiful city it was more to do with the fact that the city was just a tourist trap, everybody was out to rip you off, rob you or anything that they could to improve their life but at a detrimental effect to yours. Even the nightlife was like being in the Costa Del Sol and I would not choose to go to these places back home in England so I definitely was not going to be a regular here in Cusco........So it is bye bye Cusco and hello Pisac
Pisac is the first stop......There is several sets of ruins that you can see other than Macchu Picchu and on the way to Urabamba (Where we are going to spend New Year) there is the ruins at Pisac. So armed with a bottle of water and other supplies Anna, Max and I take a hike to the Pisac

Not bad workmanship ay? ruins. The ruins are pretty amazing but what ever possessed these people to build this place in the hills, on numerous occasions we took our lives into our own hands trying to manoeuvre round the narrow rocky paths. Then of course to top it off the heavens open and the rain begins, I guess that is what happens in rainy season. Thankfully we started early and were begin our hike down and left all the old American tourists and their guide to the rain.
