Hello everybody,

Finally I have been able to gain access to a computer and read your messages while tears stream down my face because I have missed them so much. i wishh it was hot over here. What I wouldn't give for sunburn (and you all know how much I hate sunburn).

I have had an interesting stay here so far. The place I am living is near San Vincenzo kind of. Donoratico is very small and quite new in the scheme of things. The area is extremely picturesque and when I walk to the school it is so beautiful. I think half of the beauty is in the cold weather and silnce. There is a lot of silence here.

I have been boar hunting with a guy called David (he looks like David Hasselhoff and he has been a lifeguard lol.) We sat around for hours in silnce. We being Me and Sayo one of the flatmates that I am living with. I am living with two Jappanese girls. Sayo is really nice and she has been very supportive, she reserved this computer for me because I was so upset that i haven't had access to a computer.

Anyway back to the boar. To cut a long story short, we didn't find one. But we did go to Sasetta a little village where there is an Australian women- natasha. if I had a car I would visit her but I will try and get back there sometime soon. After that we went to Castegneto for pizza at Capelladoccia. The best pizza i have ever had- it helps that I adn't eaten well for a few days. The pizzas were so nice and absolutely huge. Few people could eat one on their own. They would be so big about 40-50cm in diametre.

The school is going okay. There are only three students at the moment so if it wasn't for Sayo I think that I would be crazy. She is a yoga teacher in Japan so we do yoga together every day. It is really nice.

It takes about 50 minutes to walk to the school which is good because it is hard to resist all of the fantastic pastries here ( I finally found some that don't taste like orange). So don't worry Nan I am keeping up my excercise.

There are lots of dogs everywhere. It makes me miss home. Sayo and I share dog stories because she has two dogs also. It would be a great place for all of us to take our dogs for a walk. I have been to a market and eaten porchetta but it was very fatty so i couldn't eat all of it.

Not many people smile here. i smile at everyone but they don't return the smile. There are lots of nonnas walking babies all of the time. People are friendly when you talk to them though. I had to buy a black beanie because my blue one stood out too much. I also bought a jacket.

i have to go because they are closing so forgive the errors

Sunburn...
Watch out for the Nonna's and babies, they're all mafia lol Just kidding! I was starting to worry that something had happened to you as it had been a few days since you'd blogged. Thank god you're ok! I can't say I ever imgined you as a wild boar hunter but I'm very proud of you, even if you didn't catch a boar lol. Cherish the cool weather, how does 2 days in a row of 40c sound?? Too hot? Yes, wayyyyy to hot!! We went kayaking with Linda (Lisa's mum)at Shoal Bay...well Myk went kayaking and I sat on the beach. It was hot but the breeze from the water was so cooling. Needless to say, even smothered with sunscreen, I ended up burnt...not just burnt...BURNT! I have been in pj's for 3 days cause anything else is too painful to wear! With your fair skin you'd be burnt severely!! I'm jealous of your pizza eatings! I have been told a thousand times 'No one does pizza like the Italians'! Well, time to head off, sweating like you wouldn't believe!! Look after yourself and keep in touch...stay safe! Naomi (and Mykaela) xxoo
