Well from Koh Samui to Krabi we took a ferry and a 5 hour bus ride. The travelling in southern Thailand is very easy but very expensive. Everywhere else travel has been super cheap. We decided to stay in Krabi town and do day trips to all the surrounding beaches. All the accomadation on Railay beach and Ao Nang was all super resorts and the restaurants were very pricey as well. Krabi town was a great place to stay because it was a mix of thai culture and few tourists. All the people were super friendly and it was a great way to spend our last few days in Thailand. We even met a few people that are going to take us out and around when we come back in March.

The first day we spent just around Krabi town. It is a really smelly town compared to the rest of Thailand but i guess you cant have it all! The next day we went to Ao Nang beach and spent the day suntanning and walking along the trails. We found a group of about 50 monkeys. I love just sitting and watching them and could do it for hours!

The street stall food is always so weird
Unfortunatly it started rainig during the afternoon so we just headed back to our hotel. There is not much to do in the town itself so it was a really unproductive day. The following day was spent on Railay beach..it was beautiful although again it was pouring rain. Not a great way to spend our last day on the beach! The beach itself is a rock climbers dream come true. There are huge limestone cliffs and caves all over the beaches. There are no cars in this areas just lots of resorts. The only way you can get from all the different beaches is take a boat or walk through the mangrove forests.

The next day we headed for the Airport to catch our flight back to bangkok. Usually we would never think of flying around the country but we found a flight for 4$!! It was great..saved us about 18 hours of travel time. The whole time while we were checking in for the flight we didnt think our tickets were going to work since we only paid 4$... Luckily it was no problem and we were on our way to Bangkok. Arriving in Bangkok this time was much different than other times because there is soo much security because of the NYE bombings. All the vendors and street stalls are gone and the streets are empty. Usually its a great place to hang out. There are police searching everyone and asking for passports. It is kind of a scary situation. Anyways enough rambling not much exciting to actually write about other than what we have done. The excitment begins tonight when we arrive in India! Our flight leaves at 8pm! So nervous!
