Adalaj Step Well
Impressive structure Ompriyas family and myself set off for our road trip and exploration of the Kutch region.
Our first stop was the Adalaj Step Well. You won't find this in any guide book so far, but it is an amazing place to visit. I'm not one for endlessly looking at architecture, but this place took my breath away. I just loved all the steps and the coolness down to the now unused well.
I had the pleasure also of receiving a telephone call from my Australian girlfriend who gave birth to her first baby boy. Congratulations Michelle and Dave and baby Will Patrick. I have a very special gift for him.
We then travelled to Lothal and explored the Harrapan civilisation excavated site from about 1600BC. They had amazing town planning and such organised society. What happened between India then and India now???
After a nine hour journey we finally reached Bhuj. Gateway to the Kutch Desert and wonderful tribal villages as well as Little Rann Sanctuary. We spent the night here to make for an early start.

What happened between then and now is the persian lings and the british ruled and imposed their views on India. Not even allowing education during British reign.
