We Saw in the New Year with a bang...

No dont worry, no major accidents...i ment we saw the fireworks 😊.

Happy New Year everyone, no doubt you are all still in bed recovering from your nights out or in while im writing this.

We went to Clarke quay for a posh meal...mine was chicken stuffed with asparagas, ham and sum posh cheese with french fries (so, chicken and chips) and Nat had some sort of beef. Followed by hagaan dazs strawberry cheesecake ice cream(yum).

The place was just like home, absolutely packed with a mile long que for the cash points and toilets! It was a nice atmosphere though. We stayed around Clarke quay for a bit and then decided to follow the flow of people over to Boat quay and to settle opposite the Fullerton Hotel (very very posh) to watch the fireworks, and we weren't disappointed , they know how to do fireworks over here! People around us had champagne and things and it was all nice 😊.
It wasn't a late night and we were home at a resonable hour 😊, bit of a quiet night really but nice all the same.

Just had a lazy day today, going to Chinatown for a snoop around and some food in a bit, im starving 😊. Tomorrow we are off to Singapore zoo and the night safari, so a busy day really and then the day after its off to Oz (already!).

Happy New Year!!! I'm glad you had a good one. A lot better than mine...i'll explain. Was meant to be going to the pub near andy's mum and dads house and had already bought my new outfit (a dress!!!) but as is often the case with me, i fell ill! Caught that blooming sickness bug that is going around so spent new year in bed with a bucket. Fantastic :( And just to make me feel worse than i already was my uncle died. Was expected cos he had cancer and i'm glad he's no longer suffering but it's still sad. Not the best new year i've ever had lets put it that way. But trying to be more positive now its 2007 (even though i'm still poorly) and looking forward to starting my new job in a couple of weeks. Hope you had a safe flight to Australia.
