Beautiful Sydney

Hi all, we have just realised how far behind we are on the blog having put the date in we arrived in Sydney!

Well straight to it. After asia Sydney has amazed us and certainly hit a chord. Loads to do and lots to see we soon realised we'd not left enough time to do what we wanted. Oh well, there'll always be another time.

We spent the first night in Sydney prior to going to the blue mountains for a night. Lovely place but was our first taste of "outbackish" austrailia and not sure we were that bothered. The mountains themselves were interesting, but best seen by foot we think.

We were soon back in Sydney and rather than blab on here is a list of te best bits:

sitting by the opera house sipping pink bubbles in the sunshine
people watching everywhere!
watching the australian ballet in the opera house
gourmet picnic on bondi beach followed by wave body-surfing
visiting the zoo (cute elephants and shagging kangaroos!)
lovely B&B in the Rocks (Sydney Harbour B&B) and Mate the dog!
pancakes for breakfast at the B&B
shopping (Kate)
window shopping (Mark)

Now its off to NZ, can't wait!

Happy New Year!
Hope you guys had a merry christmas, ta for the email. What did you do? Just want to say happy new year and send you loads of love. Alan says hi too. New Year started with gale force winds, heavy rain and occasional hail for us today- great. Guess it can only get better! See ya soon xxx
