We woke up not too early on day 2, but early enough to get a good start on our day. We started our drive towards Dennis' birth town of Whakatane. He has waay too many relatives to count in the region😊, but we did stop in to see his Aunty Charlotte (his mom's sister) and Uncle George in Edgecombe. They made us a great lunch and we had a nice afternoon visit with them. Aunty Charlotte was grateful for the chance to catch-up with Dennis. On our way out of town we stopped to pick our own fresh berries. They also had the best fresh, frozen youghurt we have ever had! From Whakatane we headed through Ohope beach and Opotiki. It is a beautiful coastal drive...we stopped for quite a few good photo opportunities and walks on the beach! The very windy road made Melissa quite queasy, but the view made up for it! We drove through the Hicks Bay Region and found a great little campground just south of there. It was right on the beach and there weren't very many people there, because holidays hadn't quite started yet. We set up our tent and had dinner, enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather.

Family
Now that you have met two of my sisters Melissa....here's a challenge for you. Let me know when you meet each of my other 14 siblings, Unfortunately the other 4 members have passed on. Including myself there were 21 in total from the same MOM and DAD.
