We are seniors in our community now and enjoy the priviledge of occasional luxurious bus trips to entertainment of one kind or another. This day it was to a rural foothills 'ranch barn' near Hillspring, Alberta where we were served a nice meal and then entertained by family who host at the Great Canadian Barn Dance. It is good down-home country music with a talented bunch on guitars, mandolins and rhythm. In the summer they hold regular dances in the loft of the barn. We doid not dance but enjoyed their nice mix of mostly Christmas music. The pictures show this scenic setting.

Lovely Pictures!
I think your pictures are beautiful and I hope you don't mind - but I was looking up Canadian Ranchers and your page came up. I have some friends that are Manitoba Ranchers looking for help to save their ranch from forclosure, Please if you could - I was hoping I could add their link here so some help might flow their way. May the wind be at your back and the road rise up to meet you always! http://www.outwestventures.net/ranch.htm
