Our house..Our house..Our house..

Beats Penge aye ?
Been in Koh Samui now for the past few days. Have been enjoying some relaxation on the beach and going out and about in Chaweng. We decided to do some of the East Coast before heading to Cambodia, as we fancied a break from the cities for a while. Really glad that we did as we've had a great time here.

Nothing too exciting to report really, as we have quite literally been chilling out on the beach since arriving. We're staying in Chaweng in a hut positioned on the beach front. Very basic but all that you need with such a lovely beach view outside the front door. A cold shower though, which was actually quite a relief from the humidity. Since being here we have been eaten alive by mosquitos and sand flies- have never had so many bites. No repelent will keep those suckers away from us- they are out for our blood in a big way!

Days have been spent on the beach, jet skiing (which we actually fell off quite far out at sea) and snorkelling- not seen much though as yet. Evenings have been spent in the bars and we have met various different people. We got back to our hut at about 6am this morning after a bit of a session with some people we met the other night. Martin found it pretty hard to take any shots playing pool by the end of the evening and got beaten by a couple of thai women. When we got back to the hut we decided to head to the beach and watch the sunrise.

We also went to watch thai boxing on Wednesday. This was really enjoyable and had ring side seats to see the action. There were 9 fights, mainly Thai fighters although there were also some European fighters. Will definitely be going to another night like this before we leave Thailand.

We are planning to head to Koh Phangan tomorrow to get there for the full moon party on the 21st. Not sure where we are staying as yet, but will not be to close to the party as we will be pleased to escape the mayhem I'm sure.

From the many pics I took, this was the only one half focused, they moved too quick - need to master the camera... But you get the idea
