Hello, we are now in vietnam and i have to say it is a very nice after the humbling experience of cambodia. Saigon is so lovely, it is just like paris and even has the notre dame cathedral. I definitly could live here. The border crossing was much more official than into cambodia and a little scary. On Monday we went to the war crimes museum which was a harsh experience. Quite anti american and lots of photography from the war. We then spent 5 hrs walking around and enjoying the fact there are pavements here!! We even found the hotel de ville! Which again, is very french. That night we met up with 2 NZ guys from our bus and ended up getting extremely drunk, not drunk enough to try the snake wine though, which the 2 guys did. yuck!! On Tuesday we felt pretty rubbish so we decided to go to the theme park, like there version of disney and very strange, apart from the fact it was closing it was empty and there were lots of things made from crockery and animals tied up on the shortesdt chains then one part you walked throughthere were eagles and pelicans and storks just free in the trees above you, very scary! After that we went to the cu chi tunnels, tall managed to go down most of them even the 10 minute long one, he is so brave i cant believe they had to actually live down them. They really are tiny. After this andy finally got to shoot his ak47 which made him happy!!

For the last 2 days we have been ona 2 day tour of the mekong delta. It was really good we went around on boats and stopped on different islands. Saw how they make rice paper and coconut candy which i am addicted to! The second day was a floating market which was pretty crazy. We just got back and are heading to the central highlands tommorow.
