The beach...
Well I left Pushkar yesterday on the bus, few hours to Jaipur, got a hotel and jumped on a plane this morning to Goa. Much nicer 2hr journey rather than a 30 hour train journey! So have arrived and am staying in a kind of private house, really big room and balcony, which I actually found on the internet through couchsurfing.com! Just an amazing site. Am going out for supper with the person's house's friend who arranged it. Strolled along the bach today in about 30 degree weather which is very nice too. Even though this is a quite place there are loads of tourists here and really very sociable!
So woke up this morning and walked to the beach and layed there allll day 😊 The water is so warm!

Dull here...!
Enjoy the rest of your stay! The fog has gone now but it is soo dull and gloomy - no sun for days. Didn't get to Goa when we were in India, but did spend time in Kerala. Beaches are nice there too, but you had too look out for poo (beach = loo). South India is quite different - get there if you can - if not - build it into your next trip! We are sitting round the fire - about to have boxing day supper - cold turkey!!! baked potatoes and salad. Your Mum is here and sends lots of love - as do we all, XX Martin
