Current mood: What a great few days!
Well then... Hue was an early leave or at least it always seems so when travelling with Hannah!!! oooooh we do love to sleep!!!
The Bus was an arranged pick up at 1:30pm so in true frashion we got up to get through the morning chores of packing, the burning of cd's we were sup[posed to do yesterday and the daily emails Han soooo loves to do!!! After posting out christmas cards (that i think no body got) we tied up the morning Kybosh of activity and headed in the direction of the bus!!! here we could get stuck into the daily snacks of pringles and ant ridden mars bars hahahahah uuuuuuuuurgh (yep still twitchy about that!!)
So we here that Hoi an is the place to have clothing made so im guessing now han is here my budget is really going to take a beating!!! The Bus arrives which isnt the best one ive been on but an apoligy later and a few hours of listening to the guide talk to westerners about how crap they were in the war of Nam (funny stories actually) we arrive in Hoi an
to the hunt of the touts!!!
Both of the Amphu recomended hotels were not that great in my opinion and between us we decided to head up towards this guesthouse quickly pointed out to us by a tuot!!! so winging it we follow to the outskirts of Hoi an town to this little place (Mao sai) which at night looks like anywhere else in Vietnam!! A typical 5 floor climb fully loaded we arriuve into the attick of the building to a room with off suit loos that look like we have to share!!! ahh pish but tired we agree to have the room and get unpacked!!!
No rest for the wicked though!!! after two nights in Hue of literally sleeping because of the weather we decided to go out to see what is about and grab a beer or two.... we were stinking!!!!
Fresh dressed like a million Bucks hehehe we head into the town to be harrassed by clothes shops that we would later have to dodge and avoid!! (nothing new really we always have to dodge people cos Han being suckaaaaard always gets us buying crap)
Right....................... This Bar we found... WAS THE
APITAMY!!!!!, of what i imagined Vietnam to be like before my visit!! We walked up the path to be greeted by the locals dotted about all listening to an Elvis track and for the Duration of the night it seemed to be a soundtrack out of Good Morning Vietnam!!! the place was great but quiet!!! was ace to just sit, giggle and drink vodka!!! AWESOM!!!!
Day Two: We woke to realise that the room we were in was actually the best we had stayed in for a long time!! the morning light lit the room beatifully and it was huge!! It Had two double beds...... One for Hannah's Clothes and the other For Hannah!!! ( i just hung on to her from the edge peering over at her empty side of the bed hahahaha you hogger you!!!) The bathroom was our own so we literally had the top floor to our self!!!
We had all sorts of plans for today!!! loads!!! more than one could fit into a day!!! In the End we went for breaky around the corner and on deciding to get a moped we shot back to the digs to get Han some jeans to
covewr her burnt flesh!!!! (or her War wound from Nam the sicko) On return we just popped the tv on the have some background noise while i eagerly awaited her to get ready!!! Well it seems we have the great old Star Movies and youll never guess what was playing to my utter dread!!!!!!!?? Romeo and juliette!! arrrrgh hahahah so on Hannahs demands hahaha only kidding we stayed to watch the great movie!!( He really loves her though Nik hahahah, i tell you though there is a kid in that film that when he sings........HAS THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL!!! gives me ducky bumps hahahah oi oi oi Sharpy hows the pregnancy going???) Afterwards we went down to the water front to see if it was as beautiful as id heard and it was!!! The water was in, the street was flooded and it all helped in making the evening a picture perfect oportunity!! The scene out standing we took plenty of pictures befor being taunted up to a balcony looking over the flooded area for beers in a beer hoi and as Han drinks like a fish (yeah right) i couldnt argue!!! nor would i though for 2000 dong
beers and bare in mind its 30,000 to the pound..... ooooooh yes that is 30,000!! we arranged to meet the lads in a bar around the corner but it didnt work out!! Ladder 49 was on and we decided to crash out!!! was a nice night!!
Day 3: We went to the Marble mountains which ended up being a great day!! we rented a Ped from outside the digs and sped off driving 30km to its location and to get a bite to eat!! after our rubba dub dub we escaped the Marble sculpture touts and shops and got into the caves of the mountains ato see how lovely it really was!! Marble Mountain is a place where there are endless amounts of steps, buddas, temples, a pagoda and caves with panoramic scenes from the top after a little pot holing!!! really enjoyed pratting about here and snapping lots of pics of each other is always a pleasure!!! we are posers together!!! hahahahah
After the mountains and caves we popped to a shop where i got Hans first Xmas pressy before heading out on the bike to Find China beach QUICKLY TO RETURN as i had left hans
pressy on the floor outside the shop and the beach was pretty pish as the weather was dull and the sea was mirky!!
On return we find that we have been moved to another room in the basement!! literally shifted which pissed me off some but we got on with it as we were to head out in hope to catch the lads for the day late beers!!! we got there fine and played alot of pool before seeing them but manny mannnnnnnny vodkas later we were royally pissed and full up on pizza so we retarded back to the mozzie pit of a room!!(it wernt that bad just our attick room was stunning!!!)
Day 4 is hangover day but we had to go out and sort through things that wed ordered but not before moving rooms after my complaints and going for breaky in a cafe on the river side that we spotted yesterday on a Sunset bike ride that was stunning!!! best moment of Nam for me other than Xmas day with Han!! The ride was towards hoi an beach and on the way back over this river the sky was deep red!!
Anyway back
to my point!!! i quickly got sorted and got Han down to the River cafe for food!!! i was having fruit and Han was eating burgers!! hahahah i had a double bacon burger really!!! the cafe/restaurant was plush man i loved it and it was so relaxing and cool by the water!!! good call baby!!so we chilled out here for the morning or should i say early afternoon and trapsed down to town to pick up gifts and items we had purchased from a funny lady who was blessing the children Han i i were going to consieve that night hahahahah she said to me go slowly and deepluy hahahaha dirty old boot!!! funny though!!! she worried Han mind you whenshe was kissing her tummy!!! hahahahah crazy!!!!
After here we jumped on the bikes in search of somewhere else to play and we stumbled upon the beach in hoi an where we wondered around for a while and shot down to some sleepy towns before hand that was unbelievable!! it was steeped with traditional vietnamese towns and culture!!! really nice!!! was a nice way to get through a hangover with Han!!! really enjoyed myself!!!! tar chuck!!! Nackered we retire

even though she made me touch cotton woolto the room!!! we leave for Nha trang tomorrow!!!
Day 5 the bus leaves at 6:30pm so for the entire day we trapsed about eating a nd drinking plenty of liquid to prepare for the night bus to our next home!!! in the morning we went to a cafe near the beach where we were typically approached by a tout selling stuff so we taught him quotes to use from lockstock in return for cheaper goodies!!!! hope he says what i taught him hahahahah hell get a telling off!!!!
after wondering around we shot back to the bar where we got more food and played pool before heading out to the bus for a killer ride!!!!
im tired so ill be leaving you all alone for now for keep up the reading as i aint sitting here for nothing hahahahahahah miss you all i hope you enjoy the stories!!!
