I've been trying to start packing. Earlier I had made a list of things I thought I would need to get me through a lengthy time away. It's really making me wish I was one of those "no frills' backpacker types.
It's hard to know what to take and what to leave. All my friends and many of my co-workers have volunteered to ship stuff to me if need be. I don't think I want to abuse the outrageous shipping cost on supplies I probably should've taken with me. I've been told I can buy everything I need in India. But can I get the kind of hair conditioner I so desperately need to keep my hair from becoming a giant tangled mess? It's doubtful.

India will welcome you and hopefully by the end of it you will appreciate that if your hair is a giant tangeled mess but everything else is fine than all is ok with the world : )
