LAX to SEA

We were up at the crack of dawn to catch our 7am flight from LA to Seattle. It didn’t happen that way. We got to the airport, stood in line forever for Starbucks (I don’t regret it), finally boarded our plane… and sat there… for about 45 minutes… as Delta announced we were waiting for pilots, that they had no pilots and were searching for more pilots, and finally, our flight had been cancelled. But then, as half the plane was unloaded, we received texts that we would indeed be on this flight, but it is now delayed until 10:16am. We wasted money at the airport bar. You're not on vacation until you've had a drink before 10am, right?? Later, the same people started boarding the same plane around 9:45am… and around the corner walks two pilots and all the passengers break-out in applause. Never seen that happen before. After boarding, the pilots announced they were enroute to LA from Connecticut when Delta called them and told them they would be flying to Seattle today.

After watching Channing Tatum in the movie Dog.. the flight was almost over. Channing and dogs are two of my favorite things. ? We get to baggage claim in Seattle and Mona and Andy are waiting for us - that’s my sister and her husband! They live just outside of Seattle. We had a Jamaican jerk chicken lunch with fruity drinks and great conversation and then they drove us around to show us a beautiful home they recently sold, some other areas, and then over to our hotel for tonight which is in Bremerton on the water. Bremerton is on a peninsula about an hour ferry’s ride away from Seattle. They headed to their home to check on their dogs and we called it an early night. We’ll take the ferry in the morning and board our ship for a week. That’s all for today. Toodaloo!

We are at the LAX airport and we had to walk between terminals (outside due to construction) and Kamie wanted a light from this lady but he was afraid to ask because she looked high AF and later realized she was actually taking the used, old cigarette butts and trying to smoke those. Eh

My Margarita Flight
It was 470 calories so I had less than half of each. The Dragon Fruit was my favorite but no one else liked it. Yes, we all tried them and probably spread around COVID. Oh Well.

I vowed to take a full length picture of myself every day. It's the only way I can remind myself to keep walking and stay away from the carbs. It works. BTW, Ring video door bells are a huge motivation too... every time I see my fat ass on our camera I cringe..
