We start with 2 morning lectures--Australia in Review with Dr. Graeme Alpin and Australia's Impact on the Enviornment with Ted Edwards.
Had Lunch. Boarded coach to have a tour of the Concert Hall at the Opera House ( we will be going there again on Thurs. to see a symphony conducted by Charles Dutoit)
Then we boarded a Capt. Cook Harbour Cruise boat where we could sit and get cooled off by the breeze while listening to the interesting narative about various historic spots on the harbour's edge. We got off at the aquarium and walked about 20 min. to the Novotel Hotel, rested for an hour in the airconditioned room, and then left for dinner at a restaurant called Jordan's on the waterfront in Cockel bay. Walked back to Novotel along a walkway with many fountains and water pools in the evening light combined with the lights of the city. There was a warm evening breeze.
