Finally i have photos for you peoples of the quaint little village that i am living and working in. We have been here for 3 weeks now and the last 2 i have worked straight. Now i finally have a couple days off and im heading back to London for a night just to spend time away from the pub for a change. The last couple of days has really made it feel like summer has arrived but for how long is anyones quess.... but 3 days in a row is pretty good so far.
Emma has been gone for a week and a bit now and we all miss her and hope things go well for her back in NZ, she will be training for the police force to become a youth aid officer (I think thats what its called) She will do well!!!
One of the chefs has been asked to leave and leaves in a coupe of weeks. Hes 19 and his hormones are running wild and hes fallen in love with Michelle (who i live and work with) and things arent quite going smoothly and now is leaving. Should be a good move for him hopefully, so
The ChurchThe ChurchThe Church

This is the village church with a vicar. Its also where TS Elliot's ashes are buried in the wall of the church and his wife still comes every year on his anniversary
that means that Leeza and myself may end up being roped into the kitchen to help out with making salads and sandwhiches etc, just some more variation to the job and leeza being the 'general assistant' (she preferrs to be called that than anything else; like chamber maid or house keeping or cleaner etc....) it will be good experience for her and give her something else to do during her days.....

We played football again against Ty and Matt the other day and while its good exercise and good fun leeza doesnt get on too well with the picnic tables. The tables are our goals and it got in the way and she kicked it leaving a really huge bruise/bump on her foot and a couple days later finally walking on it properly. But now its even at 1-1 with us girls winning the last game and the boys winning the latest game.....more to be played.

Went and played pool yesterday with the boys, it was good to get out and do something else for a change in our couple hours off in the afternoon before we go back to work. It was oldies against younguns (or i
The inside of the churchThe inside of the churchThe inside of the church

The church is something like a 800-1000 yrs old and pretty much still in original condition with stone walls and floors and pillars on an angle etc
preferr over 20's and under 20s) So it was matt and me against leeza and ty. It was all even untill matt sunk the white with the black letting the others win. But it was a good afternoons outing. Not much else to do in little old yeovil. But in saying that I have had a few dei ja vus so i guess we are meant to be there (ahh soppy i know but cool..)

Arrived in London this afternoon and really dont miss the people traffic on the tube and the people on the street and now realised that im really glad im not still living here!!!

Well not much else to say so will add photos and let them do more of the talking.....

Coat of ArmsCoat of Arms
Coat of Arms

This is the church coat of arms dating back to the 1600s. It is the only one still in original condition and most are a quarter the size. The were meant to be in front of the door so when you walk in it was the first thing you saw. It now hangs over the door. Its a royal thing when the king back then made all churches of england have one. This one being so big is meant to deem this church the most royal of churches...(or something like that...)
