Well I have decided and booked quite a few things today.

I am off to see Uluru (Ayers Rock) tomorrow I start at 6:00am and don't get back until midnight. Its not a 3 day, camp under the stars tour...but with the money and time that I have it will be just fine for me.
I spend another night in Alice springs before I get on the train and head down to Adelaide, spend some time there, then bus to Melbourne for a bit, then bus to Sydney.

With "situations" at home (car accident) and me not wanting to get into huge debt with VISA, I have decided to come home for xmas. If I am serious about planning a trip to Thailand and going back to school in September. I need to get home and make some/save money. If I didn't come home until Feb. or March I really don't think I could save enough money to have a good time.

I have made a list of all the things I wanted to see and to do in Australia, and to my suprise I have actually done about 75% of it. Only thing left that I really wanted to do is a tour of the North East area. Maybe if I get to Thailand I can pop down here for 2 weeks or so, and finish that last bit, before coming home for school.

My dream was to come to Australia, and I did that. I don't want it to turn into a negitive thing by having to be in huge debt when I get home. I wanna be able to remember the sights that I seen and the things that I did. I want to be able to say that I got to do what I always wanted to do!

I guess missing a full Canadian winter isn't going to happen this year :-) But I will be coming home with a nice tan in the end.

Cheers,

Tyler

Oh yeah....I'm not sure when I'll be coming back exactly...Either the 3rd or the 12 (the cheap days)

Excited :)
I'm excited for you to come home :) but at the same time, I don't want you to be coming home too soon and making a decision you'll regret in the future. Just try to get as much done while you are there because you never know if and when you'll get another chance to go back. Just make the most of your trip and get as much done as possible...without rushing through all the sites. I hope this trip has been everything you've expected and more... see you soon. --xoxo, Ash
