I had a lousy night last night coughing and blowing nose. We went on the tram to the Melbourne Art Gallery to hear a lecture by young PHD woman in the Art field. John and I wandered around and had lunch in the food court in a shopping area called Southgate. Then I say I must go back to the hotel and sleep. After dinner, we rode the tram again and saw the Christmas windows at Meyr ( or Mayr) department store. The story of "Wombat Devine." Seven display windows with animated australian animals. It was very cute. Then we went to Global Gossip and caught up on the blog entries, paid bills, and read emails.
The weather was nicer tonight than earlier in the day. On the way home on the tram we were checked by the ticket police to make sure we had bought a ticket for that day. Everything is automated. So they do spot checks to find fare evaders. We made it back to our hotel ok and went to bed

coughing and blowing I can relate to though I am finally not doing it as much. I'm sorry to hear you have to deal with not feeling well during this trip. Besides me and Dan being sick, almost everyone I know seems to be either sick or getting over sick. I'm sending you prayers for improved health, sincerely Shirley
