Saturday. Arriving at Chez Rambaud. It was good to meet up with Neil - he used to live in Bovi. He has a beautiful campsite - only 8 pitches and so very peaceful. We lazed and read, had a little perambulation and chilled out.

Sunday. Headed to Brantome, a very picturesque town on the banks of the river Dronne. The abbey which we visited was founded in the 8th century. Behind the building there are troglodyte remains. In the Last Judgement cave there are sculptures in the rock and a fountain which waters are known for healing and fertility.
