Hi guys!

So it´s been a while since we updated so this could be a long one!

You´ve probably all been really woirried but we did indeed survive the death road bike ride! The night before the ride it rained, really reallt heavily all night and was doing the same when we went to collect out stylish lycra the next morning! 11 of us and our guides set off to the summit to start and the rain slowly turned into snow until at the worst part it was several inches deep on the road! A few craz dutch guys got out here and started, we waiting ten more minutes til the road was a little safer. I´m sure my dad can back me up on this but free wheeling down a road in the snow is COLD!!! Fortnuately as we were decending about 3000m it did warm up! The road is crazy, we have a cd of videos etc that the comapny took and I will try at some point to upload them! We passed a lot of crosses, flowers and wrecks on the way down! The sceney was stunning and the guides took good care of us all the way! I am wearing my t-shirt proving I did it with pride right now!

The next day we got a military flight to Rurrenabaque hich is North East of here and a base for ex'ploring the jungle. From snow to 35 degrees and humid! We spent three days in the Pampas (wetlands) and saw so much wildlife! We found anacondas, cobras, monkeys, camens, alligators, swam with dolphins, fished for pirahnas and stayed in a great wooden jungle hut with a really nice group of people, it was really good! We have loads of photos to upload but this computer is not letting me do it so it will have to wait for another day! (they describe it so much better thsn me!)

Our flight back from the jungle was cancelled so we had to stay for another day which was actually nice as we spent a bit more time with our group!

We will hopefully get a night bus tonight to Sucre which is supposed to be a smaller and nice city than La Paz!

Bye for now

Great trip info
I am so jealous now that I have seen the astronaut. I have always wanted to see those from the air. Great pics, keep us updated as you travel.

Amy - I've just got back to work, arrived back from Brazil yesterday. Sounds like you're having a fab time, I'm so jealous. But just wanted to say you're going to love the Iguassu Falls when you get there, I've never seen anything like it! And you must do the speedboat trip - they drive you almost under the water - awesome!
