So up with an English Breakfast at the Lakehouse (well it would have been rude not too!) Then departed for the long drive to KL.

We took a quick detour to the BOH Tea Plantation, about 2000ft up into the Highlands, which was heading up the mountains even further then we were already and out of our way, but had heard good things about the place. Well what can we say... the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in my life, words can not explain.

We also saw plenty of people belonging to the Orang Asli Tribe - the indigenous people of Malaysia who live in the mountains. They literally still hunt with blow pipes and catapults. Their homes were just shacks hanging on the hillsides.

After driving through (almost) jungle the day before, we never thought we would top it, but we were just breath taken- I'll stop going on and on now!

After dragging ourselves away we drove another 4 hours to KL. Definately an exhausting drive, coming into the city was a bit tough, but again expertly navigated by Dan, so we could drop the car off with Hertz, then walked on to our hostel (yes you read correctly!)

The hostel is great (much better then the last one), full to the brim there are Americans, Australians, and other Europeans (all sat behind me watching the rugby as I write).

It rains here at night. A Lot!

Hi Clare and Dan, we were really pleased to read that the scenery has greatly improved. Also that Dan has not lost his navigational skills! We really like the photo and am sure there will be a movie show when you return. We thought you would have enough of English tea let alone from other parts of the world. I hope you send a few tea bags home! Love from mum and dad
