travelling the old fashioned way

An Australian friend of ours called in for a couple of days at the weekend, after visiting her cousin and before flying back home. and the thing she most wanted to do was ride in a horse drawn narrow boat. So we drove up to Llangollen where they do such a thing, and had a very busy day drinking tea, eating cake and riding on a narrow boat! Sadly Alex was working, so it was only Mervena and me. .
