Three nights in the egg capital of new zealand, the geothermal area that is rotorua. A little like yellowstone park but not as isolated. Here there is a large town right in the thermal area, our hostel pool was heated via hot spring water which made it a bit of a novelty and good to chill out in.

In addition, we went for a walk in Sulphur bay which is a part of the lake where there are lots of hot springs and other activity. We also hit the polynesian spa which is renowned for it healing properties , couldn't see it ourselves but it was pretty good.

Other than that it was a quiet few days with a few visits to the hostel bar to check out the beer. Which is quite good!

Oh yeah, we also went Zorbing which is rolling down a hill in a large plastic ball filled with water. Very good!!
