Outback.From moving coach Hi everyone,
Got up at 5.30am for our coach to take us to Ayers Rock.stopped on the way at a camel farm. Not enough time to have a ride unfortunately but got a bit of breakfast and a hat net. There are quite a lot of flies which are very annoying. Next stop was an emu farm. Didn't get a ride on one of those either lol. Shame as it would have been great to see Pat attempt that.Mind you glad I wasn't working as they all needed their toenails cutting! ?Eventually we arrived at the hotel with an hour to spare before we were back on the coach for a tour of Ayers Rock. The temperature reached 39* so hats and water were a must.
The light was perfect for some good photography. The rock is far bigger than you expect,9 km around the base. We stayed with the tour into the evening to get a view of the rock at sunset. It's beautiful but a little underwhelming compared to the daytime views. Got back exhausted and ready for a very early start tomorrow. It's the sunrise tour tomorrow so getting up even earlier then ?
