Nominated by Home and Away

I would like to nominate hkwoody who is overlanding from Tokyo to London by following the Silk Road most of the way and is currently in the 'stans. His previous trip was circumnavigating South America in 179 days. I found him from his comment on a forum...a good place to find potential BoWs as it shows an interest in others on TB.

2nd by Monique in Motion

I would like to second the nomination of hkwoody. His writing is very descriptive and he is definitely having an adventure in Kyrgyzstan (where his last blog entry is).

3rd by D MJ Binkley

I enjoyed reading hkwoody and will 3rd the nomination. Glad you found that one Bob.

Thanks.
We're having a great adventure in Central Asia. All along our route through China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and now Uzbekistan we've marveled at incredible natural beauty, man made wonders, peoples and ways of life far removed from our own, and the adventurous spirit of fellow travelers. As always travel has shown us all aspects of human behaviour but the most common trait has been helpfulness and friendliness - wherever we are there is always somebody ready to help point us in the right direction when we're lost, offer us advice when we don't know what to do, or just give a wave and a smile.
Writing our blog is mostly for us but we hope other people enjoy it and that it from time to time provides useful information.
