SONG OF THE WEEK is back...but only to ROCK. Each week a different letter...for Band or Artist name. Put on your dancing shoes and let's ROCK! Post your's here.
Hi KJ. I struggled to post Youtube videos too.
The code should look like this: "youtube=youtubecode" but with square brackets instead of inverted commas.
I have modified your post above so it looks like "youtube=K-DkyMXTo5Q" (but with square brackets instead of the inverted commas) and it works ok.

Reply to this Thanks guys, I think I may have it this time, fingers crossed you may see Andy's contribution below

I found I needed to see it visually before I understood the process. For those like me, here goes.
1. Find the video on youtube. It must be the video by itself, not part of a playlist. Look in the URL bar, and will have an address like this:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQIXm-stZjs
Be careful: If there address is longer than this and has an ampersand '&' in it, its a playlist and won't work!
Copy the stuff after the equals sign to the clipboard.
2. In the forum submission box, type '[youtube=' (without the quotes), paste from the clipboard, then ']'. It will look like this:
[youtube=xQIXm-stZjs]
3. Submit it and get this:

Reply to this I know Dave posted these guys in the "A"s but I think they are worth listing again in the "C"s... AUSTRALIAN CRAWL.
I saw them in 1980 at uni in Wagga. Blew me away. Check out some of their other work: Indisposed - Errol

Reply to this Not sure how far "ROCK" stretches in this forum but I first heard Country Joe and the Fish in Covent Garden in London. They were so in advance of other groups in their musical thinking that even the Beatles seemed staid!
BTW did you know that the band name itself was a political statement - typical of bands in the '60s? "Country Joe" is a reference to Joe Stalin and "the Fish" is an allusion to one of Mao's 'Little Red Book' sayings about swimming among the fish to learn their ways.
Most people know them for their Woodstock performances - "Feel Like I'm Fixing To Die Rag" and "Rock and Soul Music" - but their range was much vaster than that.
Here is a performance from 2 years earlier than Woodstock at the Monterey Pop Festival: RAMBLE ON ROSE
Reply to this I was going to post this Bruce Cockburn song here
but discovered this other one which I think is so much better.
Does "ROCK" cover this second song or should we start another forum?
Reply to this I met Steve in the late '60s though we never played together. I loved most of his songs but my favourite was the theme he wrote for "Harold and Maude". If you haven't seen that movie, seek it out. Here is the theme:

KJ, What were you trying to post? Who was the artist? I looked at the code you posted and it looked strange. Maybe you are trying to post a playlist and that won't work. Send me a PM and I'll have a look for you.
DD adds; Your msg 63 code looks OK but obviously does not work and youtube says there is an error so let John & I know what the track was and who originally posted it so it is easy to identify and we'll try to overcome your dilemma.
