For many Boston area fans, the band Boston ended on March 9, 2007 with the death of lead singer Brad Delp. Here's to the memories....

Great memories Ezra...great tracks also. B52s and Boston.
Here's a band I discovered when I moved out of home at age 19 and flatted with some bikies and psych nurses. Learnt much about getting on with people from all walks of life as they accepted me as a poor law student and vice versa without any judgments that we came from very different backgrounds.
Then there was the music. The head bikie had a massive collection as did I and we introduced each other to lots of new music. Probably why we got on so well.
This is one of his...a song later done by Metallica.

Reply to this Considered by many the best rock group in history, the Beatles, I Want to Hold Your Hand
Reply to this Gotta love the feel good "I want to hold your hand" from the Beatles. Great choice Ezra.
Anything they did shot to Number 1...many before they were released.
Innovators that in my opinion led to long hair for men becoming popular, youth getting a voice in society.
Yet did you know they may have had the first Music Video...way back in 1972?

I left Abba for you Bob but you were out the back of the stage and missed the Letter "A" curtain call...but now you're back doing a joint "A" & "B". Fair call.

Remember when some cable TV channels showed nothing but music videos? Seems so quaint now : ) Famously, MTV launched with this New wave rock/Synthpop hybrid classic:
Buggles, Video Killed the Radio Star
