Special band for me...their lead singer at the time...flatmate of mine ...offerred to have a couple of his mates play accoustic at our party. Seven electric guitarists and three vocalists arrived at my door...probably a drummer...and dead on 11pm played their first set ...in our loungeroom!!!

Reply to this AWESOME! Dont you just love those unplanned concerts that take place in your home with no prior knowledge.....the 80s were prone to that happening. Them guys can play!

Reply to this Oh Dave! What are you doing?
I did a lesson last week about music, trying to get my students to understand the concept of learning through listening and gave them examples of great music and diabolical music. I gave the awful song above as one of the worst examples of how music can be completely and utterly massacred haa haa.
I recall my exact words were "The modern generation seems to prefer visual impact to auditory input. The eyes get wider, while the ears seem to be closing up altogether". Well...it sounded good at the time 😉
Reply to this Sorry Cockle...
I did it for the shoes, the red & silver hair, the eye make up and the lip gloss...just a bit of mirror time...
Sorry
