There are a lot of photos of travellers waiting, sleeping, eating... at airports around the world, on TravelBlog. Do you have any? Which airport was it, and when were you there? Where were you going?
the above pic, I was at Changi Airport, Singapore, waiting for my flight to Christchurch, NZ in Dec 2011. I took that picture because: a) it's my first travel with that particular backpack size (typically I'd bring more luggage). b) I love my new backpack! (as it was red and 75% off!)

Reply to this This photo is of me and my daughter at the airport in Delhi, India a few years ago. Our flight to Istanbul, Turkey was delayed over 10 hours because of fog.
At least, the airport has become more modern in recent times and even has a nice cafe. According to what I have heard, it used to be that you could not go into the airport at all until a few hours before your flight. You and your luggage had to wait in some other building that was apparently not too comfortable. Thank goodness for some changes!
