Planet of Death is a travel writing competition for dangerous, exotic or extreme travel experiences. No picturesque schlock please.

This round is based in East and South East Asia. Future rounds will cover the globe.
Entries must be no more than one page (c.500 words) in length.
Suitable for the recycling of blog entries and flash non-fiction.

The first 100 entries are free, thereafter $5 for one and $10 for three.
Only one submission per entrant while entries remain free.

Prize fund of five thousand dollars. (First Prize c.$1500)

I personally stopped reading at the phrase "picturesque schlock." You don't have to prefer that kind of travel yourself, but you shouldn't insult those who do. Reply to this
