What are the most beautiful places in Canada???

I've been to Canada numerous times and have enjoyed every visit, but nothing compares to the Canadian Rockies. I think they are even more spectacular than the American Rockies. For scenery and wildlife, would suggest an itinerary such as the one I took back in 1995: four national parks along the Alberta/British Columbia provincial line: Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho. It doesn't get much better than that! Reply to this

I think (completely biased though as I am from here) Vancouver is one of the most beautiful places, but it's hard to pick with Canada, there are a lot of beautiful places, it really depends on what your idea of beauty is. Reply to this

So far, outside of Toronto I've been to Whistler, in British Columbia. I says its a first class bit of real estate. Reply to this

Whistler is amazing, bit expensive though. ten years ago it was a lot cheaper, the property was affordable and you could actually afford a lift ticket. the food was still overpriced though Reply to this

I was only in Whistler for a couple days. Still a pretty good experience. I'll eventually return to BC for a visit, didn't really get to just sit and absorb it.

Lake Superior Provincial Park in northern Ontario.
Or near Red Rock on the north coast of Lake Superior.
Or the Pembina Valley in southern Manitoba on a hot summer day - you can see forever.
July/August in Manitoba when the canola and flax are in bloom at the same time - fields of purple and neon yellow side by side! And dark thunderstorm clouds that are 50 miles away.

The Rockies aren't the only pretty place here 😊 Reply to this

Definetely Banff National Park and the surrounding area. Take a week and you still won't cover half of it. Reply to this

More in geographic order west to east than anything else:

1) Tofino, BC
2) Vancouver, BC
3) Okanagan valley, BC
4) Takkakaw Falls, BC
5) Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, AB
6) Columbia Icefield, AB/BC border (best from Athabasca glacier, AB)
7) The Alberta badlands - Drumheller, AB
8) The open prairies of SK (although admittedly, you get tired of it quickly)
9) Anywhere on the arctic tundra, but Churchill, MB makes for a good location to see polar bears.
10) Algonquin Park, ON
11) Niagara Falls, ON
12) Montreal, QC (specifically the old port area)
13) Quebec City, QC (any part of the old city)
14) Tadoussac, QC (whale watching is great here)
15) Any part of PEI
16) Bay of Fundy, NB
17) Peggy's Cove, NS
18) The Cabot Trail, NS

I just realized that you may not be familiar with the provincial abbreviations, so I will try and help out:

BC - British Columbia
AB - Alberta
SK - Saskatchewan
MB - Manitoba
ON - Ontario
QC - Quebec
PEI - Prince Edward Island
NB - New Brunswick
NS - Nova Scotia

Sorry, but Newfoundland and Labrador I have not been to, so I cannot make any recommendations there. I tried to give a list of the highlights of Canada, but if I had to choose my absolute favourite spot, it would be Moraine Lake, Alberta. If you are travelling through the mountains again, try stopping off at Ainsworth Hot Springs near Fraser BC as that is amazing - not beautiful from the outside at all, but amazing once you're in there. According to me the most beautiful places in Canada are

Niagara Falls
Banff National Park Alberta
Lake Louise

These are the natural places that must be on your must visit list when u visit Canada.

To see the best of high rise buildings and marvelous architecture, you must visit Toronto and British Columbia.
