Does anyone recognize these hotels?

Back at it in the New Year, Last 5 Photos: Identify locations from slides taken in the 1950s

I have digitized my father's photos from the 1940s and 1950s and have been unable to identify the locations of these hotels. My parents lived in Akron, Ohio and traveled to all the states touching Ohio. I do not know whether these slides are part of a single trip that we took to Florida or whether some of them are different trips, perhaps back East or perhaps Pennsylvania.

Photos 4.1 to 4.3; and 5.1 to 5.2: Perhaps North Carolina for the hotel with columns – we did go to Mt. Mitchell; the inn by the pond could be in the south or perhaps in the East; and the gabled inn on the ridge and the dark-timbered inn may be in Pennsylvania – horse stables were connected with these.

Any information that anyone might recognize would be so helpful. Thank you. Reply to this
