Which one to visit.
I'm 21 she's 20 so we won't be doing alcohol related things. Just wondering what people recommended. It looks like Palm Springs will be expensive cause you have to get a car.
We will stay for 5 nights. We can enjoy anything. We are looking for fun/adventure/memories/interesting stuff, not looking to sit around and "relax".

Forget Palm Springs without a car! If you are on a budget, you can do a lot of things with the buses in LA. Try to base yourself around Santa Monica or another of the beaches....as than you can do most by walking or taking buses.
Don't forget the gerry Center...free, and amazing views from there.
Reply to this I agree with PA Leslie. In LA the mass transit is a bit of a headache, but you can manage with a good map and time table. Also, it's the Getty Center (not Gerry), just in case any confusion :-) It's totally worth spending an afternoon there.
Reply to this Thank you! Just booked the cheapest place on the beach I could find that didn't have user reviews consisting of photos of bugs in the shower.
