I'm a junior studying cellular and molecular biology with an emphasis on the immune system / viral stuff.
I want to travel and learn a lot, I also want to have as much fun and experience as much as possible before my time here is up.
For the past year or so however, I have miserably failed. I do my homework, hang out with my girlfriend, workout at the gym, and read random crap on the internet. Life is boring and its my fault, but I'm not too sure how to fix it.
"The infinite possibilities each day holds should stagger the mind. The sheer number of experiences I could have is uncountable, breathtaking, and I'm sitting here refreshing my inbox. We live trapped in loops, reliving a few days over and over, and we envision only a handful of paths laid out ahead of us. We see the same things each day, we respond the same way, we think the same thoughts, each day a slight variation on the last. We act like if we just get through today, tomorrow our dreams will come back to us." -That xkcd website
So I try to think about that first sentence as much as I can, and on my bedroom wall I stuck a giant 5 foot poster of a tropical beach panorama with a small island not too far off in the distance, and a wooden canoe tied to the beach that points toward the island.
