There are major Gov. warnings not to go to Mexico right now. Lot of people are getting killed/kidnapped. Big drug war going on. So stay away....especially from Tijuana thats a really bad area right now.
Reply to this Since my sons tragic death in Cancun last year, I have made it a priority to educate people about the many unknown dangers of traveling to Mexico. Please visit www.mexicovacationawareness.com before making any travel plans.
Reply to this Hello Brian 😊
Do you have any news links in English about the government warnings about not going to Mexico? Which government issued the warnings?

Reply to this Mell, visit www.mexicovacationawareness.com on the lower left hand side of the home page, there are links to the U.S. Gov't State Department warnings. Hope this helps.

Reply to this hey, they are some tragic storys, never good to hear....
but in defence of mexico, ive been travelling around mexico and have almost covered most of it now, i have found it to be a safe and friendly place. even with one minor interaction requiring a brief trip to hospital the staff were professional and probably better (diffinatly quicker and cheaper) than i would find at home.
this may of been an exception but i wouldnt hesitate to recommend that people check out mex.
just out of interest where did this stat come from??
"The number of American’s that have died tragically of “non-natural” causes while in Mexico is outrageous. This number makes up 28% of all “non-natural” deaths in the World"
it was on the above website
Reply to this Hi jprau "the stat" came from the U.S. State Department website. The percent is now an alarming 30%! (MISSING) Please go to the link below to see:
