Hello from the rainforest!!

After a five hour bus ride through the Andes we arrived at the Huasquila Amazon Jungle Lodge (check it out online). We have very limited internet access here so we will update you when we can.

Today we trekked through the jungle on a 4 hour hike. Left in the rain with ponchos & rainboots, came home covered in mud, wearing only bathing suits & rainboots (a very attractive site... we will post pictures when we can). We got to experience the primary & secondary rainforest and swam in a natural pool in the middle of the jungle.

Everyone is doing well.
